Party Dress

The Holiday's are always jam packed with family get-togethers, cookie swaps and ugly sweaters, work parties and fancy dresses... all to celebrate Christmas and the New Year! Tis' the season to find a new festive sweater or that perfect dress to end one year and begin another in.Below I have put together a work party related outfit - something conservative, with a little edge.

This black dress was purchased at H&M this winter season (I couldn't find it on their website to link for you).

I have a work party coming up and I had envisioned wearing something in black, something that would compliment my Zara sequin clutch that I have NEVER used... I know I know, sad, but since I have had kid's I really don't get dressed up often enough to use this clutch! Anyways, I found this classic black dress that was fitting but still conservative for a work event, and the lace edging was a bonus! This dress is super flattering, the perfect length, looks awesome with a statement necklace and most importantly, it's super comfortable - no adjusting the straps, looking down, pulling down... you know all those annoying things we are constantly doing in some dresses!
