Black is one of my favourite colours! It's classic and sophisticated, elegant and chic. With black you can add bold colours and statement pieces to jazz up your look... the possibilities are endless. Even when it comes to decor, I am always attracted to black and black detailing. One of my favourite on-going trends this year are hats, and I am loving the floppy hat which has been seen all over! I'm not normally a hat person, but I couldn't resist how cool the black floppy hat looks on... If I can pull it off, so can you! Whether you're having a bad-hair-day or not, a hat is a perfect alternative to your outfit - and really, if you live in Canada we need the extra warmth! Hat's can glam up a look or even throw one on a casual outfit for a cool vibe. Another great staple, the knit poncho. This black poncho is super warm for outdoors, simple but still has texture, a layering neck line and a belt cinched waist, which looks flattering on everyone!

Black Poncho | Black Hat Every morning, and I mean every morning... Jack grabs his coat, his John Deere boots and heads out to the sandbox to play with his tractors. He has even learned that he needs to take his boots off before coming inside the house... I cannot begin to tell you how much sand I have swept off the floor, found in beds and even in ears over the summer. I think Jack has finally got the hint!
