Simple Master Bedroom Refresh

Here I am, getting in the last blog post of 2019! SO crazy to think this is the end of a decade and the start of a new one! Fresh start I guess, right!? Speaking of fresh, I decided to give our Master bedroom a little refresh over the past few months, yes it's literally taken me months to slowly pick away at this space, but it's finally in a place I am happy with.

First off I want to share this WILLA sconce from Mitzi of Hudson Valley Lighting! I love this sconce so much because it adds the perfect presence, you really don't need much to make this area of our master look beautiful! The WILLA sconce gives me all the mid-century vibes while adding convenience with it's swivel shade and I love that it is plate mounted and plugs into an outlet, making it ideal for almost any area of your home!

A bedroom refresh isn't a refresh without new bedding!! Have you ever tried Linen bedding before!? Magic Linen is my fav and now I will never go back to cotton after sleeping on Magic Linen. I love the bold hue of our Cinnamon Duvet Cover + pillow cases... this is about the only colour I never tire of!

I swear it's taken me about 2 years to figure out what to put over our bed! I finally found the perfect canvas artwork called "White Background" from PhotoWall. I love this canvas print because it's muted but still adds a little interest and scale to our room. Photowall also has so gorgeous wall murals and wallpaper... it's really got me thinking of what I can add to the walls of our home next, maybe an old brick mural in the boys bathroom??

Lastly, I love all the coziness and layering of pillows and throw blankets! The XXXL Wool Knited Velky Blanket is from We Are Knitters. My 13 year old niece made it for me, because I'm that bad at anything knitting, ahh. The cream tassel pillow is from Woven Nook, one of my favourite pillow shops because they are so affordable and trendy, you guys need to check them out :)

This is our gallery wall around the TV, still loving the look but may change it up in a few months! Frames and prints are from Opposite Wall.

Earlier this year we upgraded to a king Endy mattress and I swear everyone who has a king will say it's life changing—that is pretty well accurate! Scottie was in our bed until 9 months so having that extra room in our bed was SO ideal.

That just about sums up our master bedroom! Thanks so stopping by and have a wonderful time celebrating 2020!!!

Thank you to the brands that partnered with me to complete this space. All opinions and comments are my own!
