HELLO SUNSHINE: A Guide For Your Bright & Happy Home
To kick off the first day of summer (as if we haven't already with this beautiful weather!), I have something super exciting to share with all of you!!! A few months ago I had the privilege of meeting and collaborating with Leon's and a wonderful team of inspiring Canadian bloggers who all share a passion for home decor. We have all worked tediously to bring you Hello Sunshine: A Guide For Your Bright & Happy Home. Our vision was to create areas within our home that are bright and happy, real and lived in, to share candid stories, simple tips and good advice with a few easy DIY's along the way, all to inspire you to make your home feel summer ready! But that's not all....Our focus has been about what makes a home really a home. Our homes are meant to be lived in not looked at... It's not about the fancy sofa in the living room that's too pretty to sit on or the beautiful china cabinet filled with crystal dishes only for visual appeal. Home is about the memories we make in it and how we transform our home into an area suited for our needs, adding those personal touches along the way. It's about the time the kids set up a tent fort in mom and dads bedroom or the time the boys decided to have a popcorn throwing party all over the sofa. It's about sitting around the table and eating our meals together as a family, sharing about our day. It's about watching the kids play in the sand box while the adults sip lemonade on the patio under the sun. It's about watching Paw Patrol all day in bed because we're all too sick to move. It's about watching your family grow and your home evolve with you.
