Fresh Haircuts For The Boys
With a new school year upon us, there are lots of things we as Moms must do to get ready for another school year!
Some of these things consist of:
- New clothing + kicks for fall/winter
- School supply shopping
- Organizing lunches
- Organizing Schedules
- & Haircuts
I'm sure there are a few other things I'm totally forgetting, but overall just getting into a routine again is one of the things I look forward to most as school begins and we enter into another season, fall!I don't know if it's because I'm pregnant or what, but his year I completed all of our back to school shopping the first week of August and I arranged for the boys to get fresh haircuts with Great Clips a week ago! It feels good to get some order in around here and more than ever I'm craving a routine and to really focus and get ready to welcome our third babe this November.
I just wanted to share our experience with Great Clips and how awesome of a company they are to help us get ready for school!
As I’m entering into the third trimester, I’ve been finding myself more tired than ever. Luckily the last time I was in the city, I was able to use the Great Clips app “Online Check-In” feature on my phone to check in the boys for haircuts without having to call and schedule in advance. With Online Check-In you are able to reserve a spot at any salon location nearest you using your name, number and approx. people needing haircuts. With our summer schedule, it’s been a little chaotic and by Great Clips being flexible and giving me information as to approx. waiting time down to the minute, there is no need to book days or weeks in advance — phew!!
Once we stepped foot in Great Clips, they were already expecting us and the boys were both in chairs before we knew it! I loved this because I don't know about you, but my kids are not fans of haircuts especially when it's someone unfamiliar cutting their hair. Thankfully they were both able to go at the same time, making it easier for the two of them to get comfortable! The hair stylists were more than accommodating and because I know how I like the boy's hair cut, it was easy for me to share with the hair stylists exactly what I was looking for in style.What I also love about Great Clips is that they have this feature called "Clip Notes". Clip Notes keeps track of each individual person and a record of their hair cuts or colours! There have been so many times that I have forgotten which blade number they previously used on the boys, so this feature saves time if the stylists are familiar with your needs!
