Christmas Decorating 2020
Hey guys! I cannot believe Christmas is just around the corner. This will be our third Christmas in our home and while every year it has been tradition to bring a real tree into our home, this year we are putting a new spin on our tree. I decided to keep our Christmas decor on the minimal side this year. Things are definitely feeling a little different in 2020 and with that I just feel the need to simplify everything around me, including our home decor.
What I love about the Holiday season each and every year is that I am able to play up new looks! For the first time, we decided to partner with Décors Véronneau. Décors Véronneau is a Quebec based family company that offers a wide selection of Christmas decorations. Throughout the year, thye also offer a large selection of artificial flowers and plants as well as many decorative accessories!
For our Christmas decor this year I really wanted to try something new and bring the outdoors in, while giving our home that fresh and cozy white winter wonderland feeling. We went with the 9’ Snow-Covered Tree and my favourite part about this tree is the shape, it feels so authentic. The tree also features a 8 hour timer with 8 light functions, amazing if you ask me! I paired the tree with this beautiful Tree Wicker Foot Cover.
Now onto the decorations. I really wanted to create an eclectic look by only selecting 1-3 of my favourite tree ornaments from Veronneau.
To achieve a cozy nordic inspired Christmas tree I went with:
Faux Fur Ornament
Natural Faux Fur Ornament
Glass Argyle Ornament
Gold Mercury Ornament
Metal Bell Ornament
Copper Glitter Ornament
Glass Finial Ornament with Crown
White Glass Ball
Furry Alpaca Ornament
Wooden Bead Garland
Gold Glass Hanging Finial Ornament
Moon Shaped Champagne Ornament
Crackle Effect Ornament
Every Christmas I add a garland to our staircase. This garland from Veronneau is my ALL time favourite, it’s called the Soft Touch Pine Garland. Unfortunately it looks like it is sold out on Veronneau’s website. It is such a good product it is worth investing in a faux garland like this because it looks so real, even down to the touch.
Another item that is a must are mini evergreen trees! This faux 42” Potted Christmas Tree again looks like a real tree so it will last year after year! Décors Véronneau also has the best planters, so keep that in mind for next summer :). I potted our tree in this Round Grey Clay Fiber Planter and it looks so natural and festive.
There you have it, a little bit of our 2020 Holiday home.
