Meet Our New Cleaning Lady, bObi!
There's someone new around here, she's pretty cute in a modern sort of way, well-rounded and gets the job done without any hesitation. Her name is bObi! She's our new robot vacuum set out on a mission to keep our floors clean and most of all, keep me happy, you know the saying "happy wife, happy life". LOL, well, I think any superb cleaning gadget is a win in many homemakers books, amiright?!
The boys couldn't believe their eyes, a new toy? A robot vacuum!? Mama WIN.
So how did I make the decision that every mom (me) and pet owner (me) needs a bObi in their lives?
It all started after we got our pet kitty, Rue. Rue has basically taken over the upstairs spare bedroom/ office with her litter box, toys and food. She's a fairly clean kitty, but here and there I'll find pebbles from her litter or a few kitty crumbs on the floor. Now that she's made herself at home, I often find soil on the carpet from her venturing into my plants-thanks Rue. The boys are also always waving her feather toy in the air, which usually ends up in a brawl as to who's going to play with Rue, leaving feathers spread sporadically on the floor. And lastly, the boys can be found raiding the kitchen cabinets for snacks and then hiding upstairs to munch on them, but who are they kidding, all I have to do is follow the crumb trail and their caught red handed- thanks Jack and Max. And that's when I jumped to the conclusion that a robot vacuum would be a game-changer!
Before bObi, I was always hauling our other plug-in vacuum from the basement to the upstairs, that's two flights of stairs and basically a workout itself, but one that does not motivate me enough to vacuum the third floor. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love our other vacuum but it's a beast. Now insert our new petite cleaning lady, bObi, who specializes in sweeping, vacuuming, moping and disinfecting- did we just win the cleaning lottery!? *insert cheesy grin
Why do we love our bObi Classic so much?
- She's tech friendly, even your Grandma will love her ;). She comes with a remote control which the boys love and you can program her to start cleaning on days you're busy! Plus, she is easy to take apart after each cleaning!

There have been a few disadvantages with bObi- no one is perfect though, right?Sometimes bObi gets stuck in our faux cowhide rug, so we have to make sure that all toys, blankets, light-weight rugs and cords are not touching the ground. Sometimes it takes bObi a little longer than normal to find her way back to the dock, but that's partially my fault because I didn't give her the full docking range suggested in the instruction manual. 
Overall, bObi has made cleaning our upstairs carpet a breeze. I think I have run her more than I have ever vacuumed our upstairs previously. Plus, the kids and Rue get a kick out of her and give her a little too much attention at times. bObi is everything I had envisioned; she's been a great help especially in a household full of boys + a kitty cat!
