#Blue4Water on World Water Day

Did you know that today is World Water Day!?

It's a day for all of us to show our support for the human right to water. The global water crisis affects 650 million people today. It’s a crisis as solvable as it is deadly, and its time for it to end. My husband, Brent, had the privilege of going on a Missions trip to Haiti with a charity organization called Impact Nations back in 2014. This was a huge eye opener for both of us, the impact was much larger for Brent as he physically witnessed the country still struggling to rebuild after the earthquake. Impact Nations' role is to pray and heal the sick, provide medical care, and distribute water filtration systems because Haiti is considered a water-stressed country along with thousands of other counties.

EMU Australia has joined forces with WaterAid to support access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene in the world's poorest and most marginalized communities. Their initial contribution will help kick start safe water, sanitation and hygiene projects in 15 communities across Papua New Guinea and Timor-Leste. My goal is to spread awareness of World Water Day by teaming up with EMU Australia and transforming a pair of their premium, Australian-made boots into the perfect #Blue4Water accessory.
